About Me
I am 29 years of age and have worked in childcare since the age of 16. I worked in 2 nurseries between September 2010 - February 2017. In February 2017 I became a Nanny. After having my son I returned to a nursery setting in September 2020 - September 2023.
I am an easy going and calm character and looking to be a part time/ after school nanny for the right family. I am always on time for work and consider myself to be reliable and trustworthy. I am easy going and happy to fit in with the routine you as a family already have but am also happy to adapt it to help out. I like to think that I am confident in what I do and would be able to give advice, or do research if needed in the best way to accomplish something for the well being of your child/children. ie- toilet training, weaning, sleep habits.
I hold a full UK license with 9 years experience and have my own car which I am happy to use in work hours.
I have two children, one is almost 5 years old and has just started school, the other is almost two starting preschool in January.
My Experience
I worked in two different nursery settings from September 2010 until February 2017. Here is where I gained most of my knowledge and confidence in working with children and providing them with tools to encourage their developmental needs.
In February 2017 I became a Nanny, both sole charge and shared care. As you can imagine it gave me a completely different experience again and a whole heap of confidence. This job role was mostly nursery duties but I will happily complete a little housekeeping too.
I am now a mother of two beautiful children so this is now my daily life!
My Qualifications
I have completed an NVQ 2 in childcare.
I have also passed a paediatric first aid course. Alongside this i have attended and completed a generalist safeguarding course.
My Availability
I am currently looking for something to work around my eldest school hours so ideally 9:30-14:30, or if the hours are longer I would need to be able to collect him from school with your child. My youngest would also have to attend work with me on a couple of days as he will only be doing 2.5 days at preschool.
I am available Mondays - Fridays.
