I've lived in Brighton for two years - I love being creative and working with children!
I am a marketing professional, looking for some ad hoc work, to make some extra money.
My Experience
I am in the leadership team of a children's camp over the summer, based in Dorset. This involves organising the camp, as well as looking after children ages 8-18, during separate weeks across the summer. This is a residential camp.
I was previously a primary school teaching assistant, working in a classroom from reception, up to year 6. I ran the breakfast and afterschool clubs and spent at least one day a week working in the SEN base.
I have previously nannied two children in their own home, collecting them after school, cooking them dinner and doing bedtime.
My Qualifications
I have previously obtained a paediatrics first aid certificate for the camp I help run.
Attended many seminars and sessions about child development.
I have also have a degree - but this is not in a relevant field to childcare.
My Availability
Availability may vary. I work in Brighton Mon, Weds and Fri, and work in London on Tues and Thursdays. This may vary as I work in marketing/events - but is semi regular.
