I’ve been working as a private nanny for over 11 years, with my current role being working full time for the past four years with a wonderful family in Southfields. My current nanny charges are now both at school daily so I’m looking for something extra to keep me stimulated and busy.
I’m a bubbly, fun, New Zealand fully qualified early childhood teacher turned career nanny, whose been based in London for 11 years.
I am enthusiastic, have a fun sense of humour and am very passionate about providing a welcoming, caring, and respectful environment for children to learn and develop within. Cheerful, honest, responsible, gentle, patient, creative and calm are just a few of the characteristics those around me would describe me of having. My personal teaching philosophy is based on the importance of positive communication and forming reciprocal relationships with children and their families. I also lead by a firm but fair approach and encouraging child lead learning. I believe this allows us to understand and meet individual children and their family’s education and learning needs as well as their emotional needs.
I realised very early on that as much as I love working within the preschool setting working as a nanny is my preferred choice. I love creating individual relationships with the children and their families and much prefer to give each individual child my one on one attention. I love to spend time with the children following and developing their interests, if they enjoy cooking, then let’s cook! Are they arty? Me too! Let’s put our heads together and turn this box into a castle. Your child is passionate about music? As long as they are ok with my off pitch singing then great, let’s sing the roof of the house! (Not really, I promise we won’t destroy the place).
My Experience
March 2020- current- I am currently working as a full time live out nanny for a lovely family based in Southfields. Here I care for two children currently aged five and seven.
I also work with an 18month old old one day a week for a separate family.
June 2019-December 2019- I was working in a temporary nanny share position with two children aged two years from September to December before taking some time off to travel.
2019- I was part of a nanny share for two families caring for three children aged six, one and three years.
2016-2019- Prior to merging into a nanny share I worked with my original family for three years as their full time nanny for the one child aged five.
2013-2016- I have also worked as a live in nanny with two children aged five and seven at the time of leaving.
My Qualifications

Diploma of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) Level 7,
Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education (CASHE) Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education (UK qualifications),
