EXPERIENCED PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER AVAILABLE FOR TUTORING SESSIONS.
My name is Charlotte and I am an experienced primary school teacher currently teaching in Year 1 in a Kingston school. I love my job and have worked with children in a variety of settings.
Since returning to work after maternity leave and the current situation I am aware of the challenges facing young children who have been out of school. I am keen to tutor to help bridge the gaps. I am happy to help with homework or specific areas of learning.
My Experience
I have worked as a primary school teacher for 10 years and have been graded outstanding by Ofsted. Before that I worked in another school as a teaching assistant both 1:1 with children with additional needs and as a general TA. In the past I have worked as a sole charge nanny for children aged 18 months to 11 years. I have also worked in school holiday play schemes both locally and abroad and learnt invaluable experience about fun activities to occupy children during the long holidays! I have worked as a tutor with primary school aged children.
My Qualifications
- Qualified primary school teacher (PGCE)
- Full CRB
- BSc sociolgy
- A-Levels in English, history, sociology and ICT
-11 GCSEs
My Availability
I am available in the summer holidays, Tuesdays 9-5pm and Thursday mornings 9-1pm.
My expertise is with Key Stage 1. I lead English and have a strong knowledge of the phonics screening check and the Year 2 SATS.
