Hello, my name is Beth and I am a fully qualified primary school teacher.
I'm caring, patient, organised and proactive within my approach to teaching and looking after children. I am currently studying a Masters in Leading Innovation and Change (Educational Leadership) at St Mary's University, Twickenham. I am looking for some babysitting to fit around my studies.
I absolutely love sport especially running, swimming, or cycling. Being a primary school teacher, I also love to enhance children's skills academically as-well as creatively. Therefore, I would be more than happy to assist with any homework or studies they may have.
I am DBS checked and hold a full UK clean driving licence.
My Experience
I hold a BEd in Primary Education with QTS. I absolutely love working with children and have a range of experience from early years (18 months) to KS2 (year 6). I have recently just finished my NQT year, teaching a class of 30 children in Year 4.
Alongside my teaching I have worked with Summer Boarding Courses over the summer breaks as an activity leader teaching children with English as an additional language. This consists of planning activities from sport to arts and crafts and performing arts. This summer (2021) I took on the role as Social Programme Coordinator, consisting of leading and managing a team of activity leaders.
I previously worked for a nursery agency alongside my undergraduate degree where my responsibilities involved: feeding the babies, creating/planning interactive activities, learning through play with the children and communicating with the parents.
I have also volunteered abroad in Cambodia where I gained experience working with disadvantaged children in remote rural areas.
