About Me
Hello everyone! I’m a fully qualified primary school teacher with 5 years of classroom experience teaching in both England and New Zealand, across a range of schools and settings. I’m now offering 1:1 tutoring sessions for primary-aged children in the local area or online.
I can support children with:

?? Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check
?? Maths, reading and writing support
?? Building confidence and enjoyment in learning
My particular passion is learning through play. I hold a Master’s in Leading Innovation and Change, where my research explored “To what extent is play justified within the KS2 curriculum?” I also worked in a play-based primary school in New Zealand, developing ways to use play as a powerful teaching approach while still meeting National Curriculum objectives.
I offer two types of sessions:
• 1:1 focused tutoring – direct instruction targeting a specific subject or skill
• Play-based learning sessions – creative, engaging sessions (sometimes outdoors!) designed to support academic learning as well as social and emotional development
My aim is to help children feel confident, capable and excited about learning.
