About Me
Hi, my name is Barbara. I am a widow and have three grown up children, two of which have left home. I have been a childminder for many years.I live within walking distance of local school, Heathfields, Wilnecote junior and Gorsey Bank pre school.I live in a detached house with a large garden for the children to play in, though more often than not we are out and about. I do not drive so we have lots of walks and rides on the bus.I live by kettle brook nature park and I often take the children walks there to feed the duck and look at the wild life.
My Experience
I am registered with OFSTED and have been a childminder for 25 years.All my inspection grades have been GOOD.I take the children in my care to local toddlers groups and sure start sessions. I join other childminders on play days and activities together, especially during school holiday.I belong to PACEY and am insured by them.
I follow the EYFS and plan activities that the children will enjoy and that will promote their all round development.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3 in child care.
First aid
Food hygiene
safeguarding
I attend training regularly and keep up to date with current legislation.
My Availability
My usual working day is from 07:30 hours until 18:00 hours but I am willing to start earlier if need be. I am flexible about the hours I work.
I have various part time vacancies from September 2014 and vacancies for school holidays
