About Me
Are you looking for childcare for your child? I am a nanny, with eight plus years of experience of working with children in various roles.
I am currently working full-time as a nanny, 5 days per week, however due to one of my families now potentially changing their circumstances I am looking for a family seeking childcare for two days a week (Monday and Tuesday) I live in Bridge of Don, however open to surrounding areas.
Please note that I am not available for before and after school care only.
I’m set up on the government childcare gateway (eligible for tax-free childcare cost) and nannytax co uk currently provide payroll administration.

My Experience
I have been working with children and young people for over 8 years in various roles including nanny, pupil support assistant and recently as a Children and Young Peoples Support Worker. This diverse range of roles has given me a well-rounded level of experience with children from a variety of backgrounds and of varying levels of ability.
In my current role, I am nanny to a family with 2 children. I am responsible for nursery drop offs and pick ups, supporting play at home, coordinating activities, toilet training and other welfare care, cooking, tidying and ad-hoc household duties concerning chilren's welfare. I was drawn to this role, as I wanted to spend more time with children in my care and support and nurture them as they grow. I have found this time so rewarding. In my previous role, I supported children aged 5-16 through their experiences of domestic abuse. It was, of course, essential to be patient, empathetic and caring and supportive to the children in my care both in this job and in previous employment. I am keen to continuously learn and have always put myself forward for any training relevant to the care and development of young people. I particularly enjoy doing creative activities with children and have found this to be a great outlet for the children to express themselves. I also love to get them outside exploring nature and the outdoors.
