About Me

Hi there,

My name is Isolina Visciano (my friends and family call me Izzy for short). I recently moved to Cornwall from London and am looking for some babysitting/nanny work.

Please feel free to have a look through my CV on my profile and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch.

All the best,
Izzy

Bio:

A well mannered, articulate and responsible nanny, with a great deal of experience in the education field and a profound interest in children and their development. A confident child carer who is emotionally mature and possesses high energy levels and an ability to develop close relationships with both children and families. Possessing excellent communication skills and able to relate well with people at all levels and converse in a polite and courteous manner. Able to work to an excellent standard under considerable pressure whilst presenting a positive image to others. Keen to find a challenging position within an engaging household where I will be able to continue to increase my work experience and further develop my abilities.

My Experience

July 2018 - July 2020

A sole charge role caring for three children aged four, seven and ten at the start of the position. The role is primarily focused but not limited to ensuring that each family member’s schedule is managed efficiently whether this be related to school, extra curricular activities or personal healthcare appointments. Daily supervision and guidance for homework is a crucial part of this role including preparation for the eldest child’s 11+ entry exams last summer, for which liaising efficiently with tutors and teachers was paramount to his success. Duties also include cooking nutritious meals for the whole family as well as ensuring their now two year old dog gets a substantial amount of exercise during the day. This role demands complete precision and meticulous attention to detail which I have very much enjoyed and I am now looking to start a new role working with younger children.

A shared and sole charge role looking after a baby girl aged 6 months at the start. This position was primarily to support the baby through her major developmental milestones in a caring and nurturing way. Some of many responsibilities over this time period included nappy changing, sterilizing bottles, arranging play dates, travelling with the family, teaching first words, encouraging a smooth transition from crawling to walking, introducing solid foods and sleep training. Both the parents and I kept a good line of communication open to discuss changes in routine and any concerns relating to the baby.
