About Me
Hello, we're a professional couple and we have 2 lively boys, 11 and 12. They are both very confident and out going and like an enthusiastic babysitter!
Our 12 year old has Down's syndrome and ASD. He is just learning to talk but uses BSL/Makaton/Signalong and knows lots of signs - his understanding is very good and he knows how to make his feelings known.
He likes listening to music, singing and dancing, reading books, doing jigsaws, playing games and watching things on an iPad.
He wears pull ups and will need help with his personal care. He is also tube fed although you will not be required to feed him.
Our 11 year old is very lively and talks - a lot!
He likes playing games online, so he might be locked away in a Fortnite battle, but he also likes playing card games like Uno and might take you up on a game of chess. He also likes Lego and playing with his big brother.
My Requirements
We're looking for a regular babysitter usually one evening a week (6pm onwards and we're usually home by 10.30pm!) and maybe some weekend hours.
Due to our eldest son's needs experience in SEN care is preferable.
We are based in Leith - 3 minutes from the Shore tram stop.
