About Me
Hello Parents/carers,
I am an Ofsted registered childminder / nanny living in Tulse Hill area with my 23-year-old son who is currently in university.
I have been doing this job for 15 years and enjoy my job immensely. I have gotten a great deal of joy from providing stimulating activities for my own child and seeing him succeed and achieve. I knew I could do this for others.
I have lots of experience with babies and young children having worked as a youth leader for several years and doing lots of babysitting for family and friends.
I work from 8 am to 6.00 pm Monday/Tuesday/ Thursday hourly rates to be discussed.
We are out at various playgroups, drop ins and playgrounds in the area every morning, with the occasional day trip which may require additional written permission. Photographs are taken of the children regularly, which form part of their observations and records, again I will need your permission for this.
My aim is to help children develop confidence and a love of learning. Through the Government’s statutory 7 areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, I plan, provide and take part in play based activities that stimulate and support children’s learning and development.

My Experience
I am an Early Years Practitioners with 15 years of experience of working across the age groups of birth to 12 years in Lambeth. I have been registered and regulated by Ofsted and the Professional Association for Child Care and Early Years for 8 years. I work closely with Lambeth’s Children and Family Services supporting children and their families of different cultural backgrounds and abilities.

Elaine has looked after our three boys for the last 8 years, since the oldest was 6 months old, and we could not manage without her. She is kind, warm, goes out of her way for us and the children, always keeps them stimulated and active and they completely love her. All of them have started in their nursery classes at school with above average grasp of numeracy and literacy for their ages because of the educational work she has done with them. They also do lots of crafts and reading with her. The older two really look forward to spending time with her in the school holidays now they are in school full-time. We trust and admire her completely. We feel totally blessed to have found her and to have her be such a key part of our children’s lives.

Elaine started childminding for our 12 month old for 3 full days a week a year ago. She also does regular babysitting for my 3 year old too. She is flexible, kind and nurturing with a natural flair for working with children. She is committed to ensuring that Elias engages in a wide range of community play and learning activities off site and also together in her home. She is super professional and I would highly recommend her.
