About Me

Hello. I am student on a doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy at a university in London but I live in Hull. I aim to work part-time whilst studying. I choose to babysit as I love and enjoy working with children and taking up work of this manner would help me earn by doing what I thoroughly enjoy doing. I am also looking to gain exposure and experience from this job and enhance the skills that I already possess. I do aim to work with children in my future career as a counselling psychologist.

My Experience

During my gap year (2013-2014) I worked with an organisation named Kangacrew Ltd. Working with this agency I had the opportunity of working with multiple Childbase Partnership Nurseries. I mostly worked with Cedars Day Nursery in Leighton Buzzard. Throughout my time working with this nursery I worked with children in Caterpillars (Baby room) , Lady birds (1+) , Bumblebees (2+) and Butterfly (3+ years). Having had the chance to work in all the above mentioned rooms I have gained a wide understanding of children in 0-5 age group. During my 3 years Undergraduate Psychology degree I worked at the on campus nursery for a year with child between the ages of 0-5 years.
