Great Childminder

Would recommend Mel.
My daughter started at about 11 months old, she settled in quickly and made friends with all the other children. Only recently left as we moved area and were too far away. In the most recent months she would was obsessed with going to Mel’s, seeing her friends and having fun.

Excellent Childminder

Before my girls joined Mel, I had always known I wanted to use her as our childminder as had seen her at school drop offs. I had noticed how happy, kind and caring Mel was towards the children she was already looking after so we didn’t even look else where!
My daughters have been so happy with Mel, they were consistently shown so much kindness, time, and care, and loved the food!! We were all always welcomed with warmth and open arms, not just for the children but Mel has always been so supportive to us as the parents also, which means so much!

Mel and Jean have both looked after my little boy from the age of 1 years old (so the past 2 and a half years) as I had to return to work in London. I couldn’t rate them highly enough! They are both so kind and caring and treat the children like their own which really appealed to me as I was extremely nervous about leaving my baby with anyone other than family members normally.

They really do care for each individual child and cater for all their needs. My little boy gets taken to some amazing days out to parks, farms, craft places, soft play areas and other outdoor activity events and he absolutely loves it and he cannot wait to return to Mel’s each morning - which speaks volumes to me.

I truly believe that my little boy’s development would not have come along half as much as what it has if I had stayed at home with him myself.

They are undoubtedly the dream team! And everyone needs childminders like them in their lives. As a happy and contented child, means a very happy mummy!

fantastic!

Amazing!! Mel and Jean are so warm and welcoming. My 3 boys love being there. Charlie 11, Edward 6 and William 2. It’s a real home from home environment. They do lots of activities and days out. Always on the go keeping the little ones busy and learning. I knew from the first time I met both Mel and Jean that they where perfect. And they have not disappointed! Couldn’t recommend them enough. Xx

Lovely setting

Mel and Jean have taken care of my boy for two years now. They treat him like he is part of the family and have helped him to develop as he had initial speech delay issues. They are always active taking the children out and ensuring they are kept busy. The children have made good friendships too within the setting. Mels son Is also very good at helping children to settle in. We have been very happy and recommend them highly 😀

wonderful!

Myself and my husband are so happy to have found Mel & Jean for our little girl. She settled in immediately, loves going each day and we can go to work knowing she is having fun in safe hands. Mel and Jean take the children out & about on various trips and it’s good to know the children are exposed to different experiences & environments. I highly recommend Mel’s munchkins!

Peace of Mind

Mel and her mum Jean are fabulous, from the very first day my 10 month old son loved his time at childcare. The surrounding are clean, the food is great with variation and most importantly lots of toys and activities to entertain the children. Mel put us, as parents, at ease straight away and continue to do so with regular updates. I am very happy with my choice of childcare for my child and would recommend Mel to anyone.

Fun and active childminder

My girls have settled really well with Mel and look forward to going each week. They always come home having learnt a new song or dance move so the house is always full of fun and music. Mel takes the kids out to some brilliant places and is very accommodating to your needs. I don’t have to worry about anything when they are there, I can just pick them up at the end of the day with smiley faces all round.

Brilliant

My son started reception at Longlands Primary School this year (2018) and we needed to find a friendly and welcoming childminder to take care of him three days per week. Mel and her mum Jean tick these boxes and my son settled with them in week one. Mel offers a happy and safe environment for all of the children in her care. As a parent this really puts our minds at rest, that our child is being cared for in the best possible way before and after school.

Absolutely Amazing

Mel and her lovely mum Jean have looked after my little girl since she was 16 months old. After my little girl would not settle in nursery, I was extremely grateful to find Mel. Mel provides a loving family environment, has lots of fun with my daughter and goes above and beyond looking after her Munchkins on a daily basis. My daughter has flourished under her care and I cannot recommend Mel enough, you will have complete peace of mind and Mel keeps you informed on everything. You will be lucky to have found her!
