My Summary
About Me
Ciao! My name is Cecilia, I am a professional 34-year-old with six years’ experience working as nanny within HNWI households (plus two years as an au pair before university).
I’m a qualified maternity nurse and have experience with children from newborn to 10 years of age.
I am university educated and I speak both Italian and English at a native level and hold both Italian and UK citizenships/passports. I am based in London, but I am independent and flexible to travel.
I hold a clear DBS and paediatric first aid. I have completed a Common Core Skills & Knowledge Training course and hold an OCN certification to work as a maternity nurse.
After taking a career swerve in 2021 and pursuing “office-based” jobs, I am at a point in life where I am prioritising my wellbeing and focusing my work choices on something that has always made me happy and feeling fulfilled: childcare.
Upon leaving my 9 to 5, I had the opportunity to join a family I was acquainted with from previous jobs on their month-long holiday overseas. I have since worked for two months as a live-out nanny for a family
relocating to London from the US with two young girls.
During this placement, we travelled to Italy with the extended family and a total of seven children aged 5 months to 10 years; my main focus had been requested for the two youngest children for the day-to-day, and
the whole squad on occasional days and for evening babysitting duties.
I have worked a cover for the half-term for a three-year-old and an eight-month-old baby; I will also look after them for three days of proxy parenting in November.
I am keen to explore and return to a career of working with families that may need a friendly, can-do attitude nanny on a temporary or rota basis, in a way that combines my previous and most recent experiences and what I enjoy and thrive in doing.
I strive in environments that require me to be professional and organised. The interpersonal and communication skills acquired in my most recent office jobs, combined with my proactive and friendly
attitude, I’m certain would suit most busy families.
