About Me
Hi, my name is Lynn. I am an Ofsted registered childminder in the Watford/Oxhey area. My past three Ofsted inspections were graded 'outstanding'. I strive to provide an exceptional service that meets the needs of parents whilst ensuring a safe, caring, loving and enjoyable learning environment for the children.
I have been a childminder for 31 years, I live with my husband and we have no pets. I have a separate playroom with access to an all weather outside play area. We make regular visits to parks, farms, museums, soft play centres and toddler groups. Home cooked meals are included in my fees.
My Experience
I am NNEB qualified and worked previously as a nanny, in a nursery and at a children's home prior to becoming a childminder. I am Mum to two grown up children. I have a current first aid certificate and have completed safeguarding and food hygiene training.

Lynn has been our childminder since September 2014. She looked after my son who is now in his first year at school and currently looks after my 2 year old daughter. Lynn is the ultimate professional, when I tell people about the outstanding care Lynn provides they do not believe me!
Lynn has created a warm, nurturing, aspirational and loving environment in her home. Both of my children have thrived during their time with Lynn, she has worked tirelessly with us to support them in every step of their development. The learning journal, scrapbooks and daily diary we have ensures excellent communication and really demonstrates Lynn's passion for her job. My children have loved all the activities, trips and opportunties they have experienced with Lynn - highlights include the annual trip to the seaside, going on the bus, playgroups, parks, planting their own sunflowers, trips to Tring Natural History Museum and Legoland. The variety offered by Lynn means that the 3 days my daughter is with her are all different, the covered outside area also gives the children access to outside regardless of the weather. Lynn also cooks excellent food and caters for the children individually, she had her worn cut out with my fussy son and she never gave up!
In short, when I returned to work after having my son I was nervous and dreaded missing him. Having Lynn made all those feelings disappear. We are part of her childminding family and I do not know what we would do without her. If you are looking for a childminder, Lynn having spaces is an opportunity not to be missed.
