Experienced, NNEB qualified, ex paediatric nurse available for part-time nannying/housekeeping.
I live in Carbrooke, and am 56 years old with 2 grown up children. I qualified with an NNEB (Distinction) in Childcare in 2002 and worked for 2 years in a nursery in Lincolnshire. I then worked in Lincolnshire as a Nursing Assistant on a Children's Ward, and later trained as a Paediatric Nurse, qualifying with a first-class degree. I worked in Lincolnshire and Norfolk as a paediatric nurse, but left nursing in 2020 and now offer part-time nannying, ad hoc/emergency nannying. I am very reliable and responsible, kind and caring, and I am experienced with all ages of babies and children, from newborns to teenage.
Non-smoker, non-drinker, own car. Animal lover, experienced with , and comfortable with, caring for dogs/cats/small pets.
I have public liability insurance and business insurance on my car.
I have an up-to-date (July 2023) enhanced DBS.

My Experience
I have 2 grown up children who have flown the nest. Since having my own children, I have worked with children in some shape or form. When my children were very young, I worked as a Registered Childminder, as they grew up, I went to college and gained an NNEB in Childcare (with Distinction) and worked in a Nursery for a couple of years. From there I went to work on a Children's Ward as a Nursery Nurse. I then trained as a Children's Nurse, graduating from the University of Nottingham with a First-Class Honours Degree. I worked as a Paediatric Nurse from 2009 until 2020, in hospitals and as a school nurse in 2 boarding schools. I undertook a further degree, in Public Health Nursing, graduating with a 2:1 in 2015. I am now officially 'retired' from nursing. I am experienced with babies including newborns and premature infants, children of all ages and also am experienced in caring for children with disabilities. I am a genuinely kind and caring person, who loves babies and children, and they seem to like me! I am qualified in paediatric first aid and basic life support. I have been DBS checked many times over the years for different employers, these are all completely clear, my last DBS check was July 2023. I do not smoke or drink, and I also love animals, so I am also happy to care for your pet(s).
My rates are: Nannying - £14.00 per hour
