Established positive relationships with the 3 children aged 2, 5 and 7 when I started but are now 6, 9 and 11 by designing creative games and activities, handled emergency situations efficiently and contacted emergency numbers quickly and calmly, maintained child's health and well-being by providing meals, assisted with hygiene such as, bathing, changing diapers, and potty training, and followed regular routines of child's eating and sleeping schedule, accompanied children in parks and activity clubs, transported of children to and from school, undertook some maths tutoring for the parent for an extra charge, organised play group activities and gatherings with neighbourhood children, maintained a safe playing environment, communicated with children's parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviours, and related issues, prepared healthy meals and snacks, promoted good behaviour by using the positive reinforcement method, adapted to different household environments and helped with homework. I had sole charge of the children from 5pm-10:30pm weekdays and full-time during weekends and all holidays. I travelled with them alone to different countries as dad worked all around the world and both parents wanted a consistent nanny to share in all parts of the world they were situated. I went to some parents’ evenings and relayed any messages to both parents (dad via skype).
