About Us:
We are an energetic and friendly family of five looking for an experienced Au Pair or nanny to look after our little girl when I return to work in Jan ‘24. We also have two boys who are currently 6 and 8 but they will be at school. We would like to share with another family who have a little boy currently 8 months, they would be interested to begin sooner than Jan, to be discussed.
Location:
We live in a leafy suburb of London (within easy reach of central London – a 35 Min train ride) and enjoy taking the children and Nala our dog to the park to feed the ducks, playing football, cycling and swimming. Shops, restaurants, school, pre school, the park and train station are all within a few minutes easy walk from our house. We would love to find someone who will join in with enthusiasm!
My Requirements
Tasks:
Light house work linked to the children to include putting washing on, hanging it up, clearing up after mealtimes and putting dishwasher on, cooking children’s meals, ironing their clothes. We have a cleaner so would not expect ‘deep’ cleaning but obviously keeping their room clean and tidy and tidying up toys at the end of the day.
Hours:
I work full time as a teacher and the other family need year round care.
Au pair option- The hours would be predominantly term–time (36 weeks) only as I am a teacher (and we wouldn’t go with nanny share option in this instance), during the holidays you will have more flexible time and you would not have to work the set hours below, this would decrease giving you the time to see more of the city / country.
During this time we often go down to the countryside in Somerset to visit family and so you would have to opportunity to join us and see other areas of England/the coast or stay and house sit, we could discuss these arrangements when you are here.
Accommodation:
You would have your own double bedroom.
Payment:
We would like an au pair who has at least 2 years experience, ideally first aid trained (although we are happy to provide this if you aren’t) looking after our children and are happy to pay more than the average au pair salary for this privilege. (To be discussed on an individual basis)
