Dear family,

My name is Gemma and I am a 31 years old. I'm from Barcelona, Spain. I consider myself a responsible person who loves to care for children and attend to them with sensitivity and professionalism. I'm always creative while playing or teaching, often design new games, crafts, stories...
I can also teach Spanish while taking care of your children if required via songs, storytelling, etc.

My Experience

-I have extensive experience working with children from new born to 13 years of age.
-National and international experience working in nurseries and schools as a Teacher Assistant, recording observations and parent engagement.
-I worked in London as a nanny, and as an Early Years Practitioner in three different nurseries one of them being a Montessori nursery and the other one a bilingual nursery (Spanish/English).
- I worked in Barcelona as a Recreational Activities Instructor and also in two different nurseries. I worked as well as a private tutor, giving advice on academic methods and study skills.

My Qualifications

-Qualified Teacher Status
-Bachelor (Honours) degree in Pedagogy (Autonomous University of Barcelona). Specializing in Management of Education Institutions.
-Diploma of Higher Education in Advanced Technician in Early Childhood Education. Equivalent to BTEC level 4/ SQA Higher National Certificate (HNC) standard (NARIC Statement).
- I have DBS and First Aid certificate.
