About Me

My name is Josie and I've been an Ofsted Registered Childminder since 1997 - so almost 20 years now.

I've always looked after children from an early age and I also have three children of my own. They are all grown up now but we all live in London, so we get to see each other often.

I live on Frognal in Hampstead, which is right by the Heath and great for getting the children some fresh air.

I have a good network of Childminder friends, so will often meet up and take the children out for walks, activities or playgroups. One of my favourite places to go is Golders Hill Park, as it has the animals and it has great places to have picnics. There really is always something to do.

My Experience

I have a great deal of experience with children from birth to eight (including school age children) and I have been a Childminder since 1997.

As a young lady I also worked in Ireland as a nanny for a number of years, with sole charge of four children from birth to eight.

I have always looked after children, because it's what I love doing. It means I'm able to give good advice to parents who ask, especially new parents which is always appreciated.

My Qualifications

I hold certificates in:

Paediatric First Aid,
Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 1,
CACHE Level 1 Award in Getting Started in a Pre-school Setting,
A member of Camden Early Years Childminders Partnership

My Availability

I'm currently looking after one child part-time, so I have space for another child and I am flexible with availability.
