About Me

Hi, I’m Mikaela and I am 30 years old. I am looking for a new nanny role and I would love to connect with a family who is looking for a nurturing, reliable and experienced caregiver.

I have over 10 years of experience working in the childcare industry and hold a degree in Early Childhood Studies. Throughout my career I have supported children across various ages and stages, always striving to creating a fun, stimulating and safe environment.

My experience in the education sector has equipped me with a solid foundation that allows me to successfully provide educational and age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and development. I also acknowledge how hard transitions are for children starting nursery/schools and can support this journey. I believe children thrive when they feel happy and secure and this is my core focus, with lots of fun and laughter mixed in.

I’d also love to share that I’m a first time mum and I am hoping to bring my 10 month year old daughter along with me. She is a very happy and social little girl who adores being outdoors. I truly believe that growing up alongside other children can foster empathy, confidence and social and emotional development for everyone involved.

Becoming a mum has deepened my understanding, patience and love for caring for little ones.
