Hello parents!
I am Michelle, a highly experienced childcarer with a broad range of experience spanning over 20 years. I started out as a mother’s help when I was studying at college, and then over the years I tried my hand at being a nanny, nursery room leader, and a teaching assistnat in schools.
Then I came across maternity nursing which I adored and when I had my first child, I switched to being a night nanny so I was able to raise her at home during the day and still maintain my career.
I have since had two more children and I am now looking for a couple of days of work to fit around my family's needs. I am available Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays 9.30-2.30)
I would describe myself as enthusiastic, creative, organised and extremely passionate about healthy eating. I’m also extremely organised, clean and tidy!
I’m looking for a housekeeper/nanny/mothers help type role - over the years I have been hired to batch cook healthy and balanced meals for families and their weaning babies, provide childcare (day care and babysitting), support with homework, guide parents with sleep training, support mothers with breastfeeding, introducing routines, help with potty training, housekeeping and supporting busy families as a PA type help. I’m very flexible and open to a variety of roles so if there is something I’ve not listed here then please feel free to enquire (you don’t ask, you don’t get, right!?)

I enjoy days out with my family and socialising with friends, keeping fit and healthy, and I'm a very proud mother of three (6, 4 & under 1).
I always try to be flexible when it comes to attending to parents needs as I know how difficult it can be finding reliable and high standards of childcare.
I can provide extremely good references from families whom I have been a maternity nurse/night nanny for within the last 10 years.
My Experience
I have -ver 20 years experience in childcare which includes nursery, nanny, and primary school positions, with the last 10 years being solely maternity positions. I have worked with some lovely people who have provided me with wonderful references.
I have excellent knowledge and experience in supporting mother and baby with breastfeeding, introducing routines, and sleep challenges.
I have done a sleep training course and I have been able to help many families achieve a good sleep routine for their little ones.
I also have experience with twins and reflux babies.
My Qualifications
I am qualified up to a Foundation Degree level in Early Years, and I hold a Level 3 PAIC maternity nurse practitioner certificate.
I have an up to date Paediatric First Aid certificate, I am insured and I hold a valid DBS.
I have also done a sleep training course as well as a breastfeeding consultancy course.
My Availability
I am available for babysitting and night nanny positions. From January I will be available for a housekeeper role two days per week 9.30-2.30
I may also be able to provide some day support at the weekends on request.
