About Me
I completed the CACHE Level 3 in Childcare and Education in May 2015 having achieved a grade A.
In 2017 I completed a foundation degree in Childhood Education (3-8 years) where I gained a 2:1. I have also completed my top up year so have a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies (Level 6 qualification).
I am a caring, fun and enthusiastic individual with a wide range of experience with children from 0-11. I really enjoy working with children and seeing how they learn and develop. I have extensive knowledge of the EYFS and National Curriculum and also have been a key worker to several children at a preschool and more recently a nursery so have knowledge of observations, learning journeys and how to support children’s behaviour, learning and development.
I have also been doing some babysitting/nannying for 2 local family’s since May 2021. This has included looking after a newborn.
I am now OFSTED registered which allows me to provide tax free childcare.
I also have insurance.
I am currently looking for work preferably local to Illogan because I do not currently drive.
My Experience
I have been given the opportunity to work in a variety of settings over the past eight years such as a prep school, primary school, pre school, children's centre and a child minders.
I also have experience working with children with special education needs.
I have also been a personal assistant/ mothers help where I completed household chores whilst looking after and entertaining their 11 year old daughter. During lockdown I spent several weeks homeschooling their daughter as well. Since May 2021 I have also been doing some babysitting/nannying for 3 local families which has involved bedtime routines as well as woodland walks, taking the bus, going to the park, playing in the garden, lots of arts and crafts activities and baking.
My Qualifications
I hold a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies (Level 6).
I also hold a 2:1 Foundation Degree in Childhood Education (3-8 years).
I also hold a CACHE Level 3 diploma in childcare and education at a grade A.
I also hold certificates in level 3 paediatric first aid, food hygiene and safety, safeguarding children level 1 and 2, as well as certificates in FGM and Channel Prevent.
I also have 12 GCSE's at A*-C grade including:

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.50 per hour
- Nannying from £12.50 per hour (gross)
This depends on the number of children/hours of work but I am looking to charge a minimum of £12.50 per hour.
