About Me
Hello my name is Gayle, I am 52 years old and have been a registered Chidminder since May 2015. My business is called Cozy Cubs. I am registered with the Care Inspectorate.(SCSWIS). I am also a member with SCMA (Scottish Childminding Association). I am married to Peter and have two lovely children, one son age 10 and one daughter age 17
We also have two cat's, one called Tiffany who is 7 and the other is Milo Chester who is 2 years.
I will be attending toddler groups most days a week with the children and will take them to the library, play park, for walks, etc. I also live about a 20 minute walk from the Calderglen Country Park which I will visit once in a while with the children, I do also visit the soft play once in a while depending on how many children I have that day.
My Experience
I have two lovely children aged 10 and 17 and therefore have plenty experience with children. I also have two grown up Nieces that I used to watch very often when they were younger.
I am registered to care for six children, this includes one of my children.
Included in my service are morning and afternoon snacks.
The children in my care will have a variety of activities to do including arts and crafts, jigsaws, reading books etc. Variety of toys.
I also do a Daily Diary for the children which I give to the parent once a month or more often if they prefer and this lets them see what the child has eaten and what activities they have done or where they have been, also naps they have had.

My Availability
My business hours are Monday to Thursday 7.45am - 5.30pm and Friday 7.45am -3.00pm. I am willing to work around these hours with some notice.
I take children from birth to 12 years.

Our 1 year old boy started with Gayle at the start of the year and it has made my return to work so much easier than I thought. Gayle has been great at keeping me updated on how he is settling in, what he has been up to and Logan is so excited to see her in the morning and is always smiling when I pick him up at night.
Can't recommend Gayle enough.

Gayle has looked after Arran since he was 8 months old. The only reason he is stopping with Gayle is he is now 3 and is going to nursery. Gayle has been absolutely amazing, the bond she has with arran is incredible. I felt at ease whenever Arran was with Gayle. Gayle communicated daily with pictures, messages and a diary. I was always kept up to day with his development progress. Arran felt so safe and comfortable at Gayles and always loved going. Gayle has been with Arran through a lot of his milestones, from bottles to food, nappies to the toilet. I am really happy with Arrans development and I know he is ready for nursery this is because Gayle has been amazing with him. We are absolutely gutted to be leaving! Arran just loves Gayle! Thank you for everything Gayle.

Gayle has looked after 3 of my boys over past 2 years & they all adore her. She engages them in outdoor play, library visits, arts & crafts etc. I receive a regular diary detailing daily events and photos of outings/indoor play. Which is always good to see. Gayle is also highly organised, efficient, reliable, trustworthy and completely goes 'the extra mile' to help out us stressed mum's/dad's. I cannot recommend her enough. Wonderful! And you know how much I appreciate you Gayle.😊

Thank you so much for this great review. Loved watching the boys.
Great Childminder.
Gayle and her bond with my baby made leaving him for work much easier.
I loved how Alfie was out each day getting fresh air and enjoyed his time going to a local toddler group.
Good communication and always sent lots of happy pictures.
Gayle takes into consideration each childs individual needs, encouraging him to walk, talk and become a confident little boy.
Sad to leave Gayle but will keep in touch with her and would recommend to friends!

Thank you Donna, it was a pleasure watching Alfie for those few years, seeing him growing and learning to talk and walk.
Gayle is a fantastic childminder. My son Harry thoroughly enjoyed his time after school every day. Gayle provided a daily diary of what they had been up to which was great to see. Gayle a provides excellent care, activities and snacks (Harry especially loved the milk straws) ?. Would highly recommend and if I ever need a childminder again I would call Gayle up in a second ?. Thanks again Gayle ?
