About Me
I am a fun, patient, caring and hardworking nanny looking for a part time nanny job. I recently worked in a Primary School as a Teaching Assistant therefor already have a DBS check. I have 10 years of experience working with children of many ages. I hold a Level 4 childcare qualification and completed a degree in Childhood and Youth Studies. I live in the Hither Green area with my husband and two daughters. I am a Non-smoker. I enjoy working with children and providing a loving nurturing environment in which they can grow and develop. I enjoy taking children out to playgroups, libraries, parks, museums, play dates with friends, swimming, and just having fun. I love animals so wouldn't mind pets. I have my Paediatric First Aid completed in November 2022.
I hold a clean UK driving licence for over 15 years. I have access to my own vehicle.
I am fluent in English and Portuguese. I have indefinite leave to remain in the UK.
I treat all children in my care as if they were my own children and try to incorporate as much learning through play as possible. (This usually includes lots of singing and silly voices or messy play). Please don’t hesitate to contact me.
My Experience
I have worked in many childcare settings. I have worked in private nurseries as an Early Years Practitioner/ a SEN Teaching assistant and as a Nanny for numerous Private families in the past. I have experience with children aged 0-12 years old. I currently hold a DBS police check.
I have worked in a baby room of a nursery and therefore hold experience with babies and newborns. I have experience with SEN (Special Educational Needs) as I have worked with children who need 1:1 support. I have cared for children’s medical needs such as asthma, eczema, allergies, and other medical needs.

My Availability
I am currently available for work Mondays and Wednesdays full days. I am looking for work in areas surrounding Hither Green and will be driving so would need access to parking if possible. Carina was wonderful with our 3-year-old son, Derin, for a year. She's loving, and caring, and Derin adored her and her daughters. We had to part ways as Derin starts nursery in September. Highly recommended!

Carina cared for our 2 year old daughter for one year when my wife went back to work. We cannot speak highly enough of Carina - she is thoughtful, calm, patient, caring, and committed to her job and built a strong, healthy relationship with our daughter. Carina knows how to set and maintain appropriate boundaries and communicates extremely well. She provides helpful feedback and regular progress updates and gave us a lot of confidence in her work. Ultimately we would have continued with her if we could and she comes very highly recommended. She's also great with animals - putting up with our mischievous dog.

Carina is an excellent nanny and lovely person. She is reliable, hardworking, honest and creative. My children and their friends all love her as she is kind but firm and lots of fun! She always goes beyond her job title in terms of being part of the family and committed to her job. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

We have been using Carina as a babysitter for the past few months for our 17month old baby. She has always been very professional, organised and most importantly very engaging and caring with our son. We have always found Carina to be enthusiastic, keen to play with our son and put a smile on his face. She keeps him occupied and engaged at all times, she has exceeded our expectations and we would thoroughly recommend her.
