Hi...I'm Sue and I live in Basford, Nottingham. I have 2 sons aged 23 and 18 and 2 cats and our adorable little dog Bailey...everyone loves Bailey :) I am an Ofsted registered childminder and also a governor for my local primary school. I have a voluntary role with Childline as a counsellor, all of which I enjoy immensely.
My Experience
I have been childminding since 1998 when I decided to have a career change which enabled me to work and also care for my own children. During this time I have cared for many children from newborn to teenage years, some are now in their late teens and still regular visitors to our home :) My own two boys have grown up in this environment and it is only with their cooperation that I've made a success of my business so Thanks Boys!!!
My Qualifications
I am qualified to NVQ level 3 in Children's Care, Learning & Development, First Aid, Safeguarding, Health & Safety and hold a Food Hygiene & Safety Diploma along with a number of other supporting qualifications such as special needs training, prevent duty and schemas. I am also level one qualified in British Sign Language.
