My Experience

I currently work as a part time nanny for a fun, curious 2 year old boy, alongside studying towards my MA in Play Therapy. I believe wholeheartedly in the therapeutic power of play for children's well-being and development, hence Play Therapy, and nannying fits wonderfully alongside Play Therapy, with a focus on spending focused, quality time with a child/children.

Having worked in bot live in and live out nanny roles, as well as the 7 years teaching full time, as a qualified primary school teacher, my experience of children and families is really varied, in both home and school settings. To any nannying role, I bring with me a huge variety of experience (and a lot of heart!)

I have well over a decade of experience working with families and children, both in nannying roles as well as within education. I am more than happy to discuss any of my background and work experience in more detail when we connect.

I believe that a trusting relationship is central to any work, especially where children and families are involved. I love to bring fun, warmth and genuine connection to the children that I work with.

Currently studying: Post Graduate Diploma in Play Therapy (part 2 of 3 towards an MA in Play Therapy)
Fully qualified therapeutic play practitioner (2025)
PGCE Primary Education (2017)
Ba Hons Fine Art (1st class)
Level 2 Certificate in understanding adverse childhood experiences.
