About Me

I am an energetic primary school teacher who has 9 years experience currently working in EYFS. I live an active lifestyle and believe that children's lives should be full of enjoyment and as many opportunities as possible. Hard work and dedication are traits I value highly in myself as well as a drive not to leave jobs unfinished.
I love doing anything active or outdoors with children especially swimming where I also hold a swimming teacher qualification. In addition to this, I am a keen cook, who runs my schools children's cooking club where I am always looking for new ways to engage children in food, cookery and baking. As well as this, I enjoy taking children outside during the holidays to explore their local area and further afield especially local events.

My Experience

As a fully qualified primary school teacher, with 9 years experience, specialising in Special needs, EYFS and English, I have worked with children of a variety of ages but currently lead EYFS and teach reception. This often involves dealing with difficult situations in a quick professional manner and includes a certification in Paediatric First Aid and Emergency First Aid. I am also apt at planning regular engaging activities for children to participate in, particularly swimming instruction in which I hold an ASA swimming instructor qualification.
I also have experience of nannying and babysitting, a role I have been doing, in my free time, for the past 15 years.

My Qualifications

I hold the following qualifications:
BA Hons in Primary School Teaching with QTS
Paediatric First Aid and Emergency First Aid Certification
Mental Health First Aid certification
ASA Level 1 swimming qualification.

My Availability

I am looking for school holiday cover work either full time, part time or occasional and am also available for weekend or evening during term time. This could include emergency work.
