Myself and my partner were very nervous about leaving our one year old son with anyone, but from our first meeting with Kirsten and George, they were brilliant and he took to them immediately, which at the time was unusual for Sebastian.
The other children in their care are always happy and stimulated, and their home has such a warm loving feel about it, helped by their two fantastic daughters, whom my son absolutely adores.
Sebastian has been with them for almost 3 months now, and he's coming on leaps and bounds. They are always keeping the kids busy, with activities, toddlers, outings and crafts, and they provide a diary every day, letting us know how our son has been and what they've been up to, which makes us feel included.
We could tell from the moment we met George and Kirsten, the type of people they were, and it's such a relief to be able to leave our son with such warm and caring people, who do such an exceptional job.
I would recommend Kirsten and George without hesitation!!!

I was very nervous leaving my son for the first time but Kirsten and George were reassuring and sympathetic. They have welcomed my son into their family and their lovely children are also amazing with him. We had a few expected cries for the first few days dropping him off but now he knocks on the door to get in! Kirsten and George always have him busy whether it be outings, toddlers group, arts and crafts or baking. They write a daily diary with pictures which I look forward to reading each night. It's so lovely when he comes home with things he's made. Angus is generally a happy wee boy but I can tell he is thriving and coming on leaps and bounds in Kirsten and George's care. He is excited to be dropped off and hyper when I collect him.
Kirsten and George are very professional, honest and so approachable, this for me is not just business, it's about trusting people with your little angel and I couldn't be more safe in the knowledge that Angus is being cared for by such exceptional people.
I am so glad that a chance meeting with another delighted mum introduced me to them!

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Kirsten and George as childminders. My one year old son started with them in the new year and has settled in very quickly, no doubt because of the high level of care he receives and the great fun he has with Kirsten and George and the other children. He particularly loves their two daughters who, as well as being very kind and caring, definitely seem to have the gift of making Sam laugh! Kirsten and George go out of their way to accommodate Sam's needs and his normal routine and he always comes home happy and babbling about all the things he has done! He participates in lots of different activities and trips in the local area, getting out and about when the Scottish weather allows. It's lovely to know he is being so well looked after by two such warm and caring people. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I was apprehensive initially about sending my daughter to childcare at 8 months as most mothers are, but I have to say it has been such a positive step for both of us. I hear my daughter laughing and giggling as I knock on the door, and she greets me with a huge smile. She is often totally worn out from her busy days with Kirsten and her husband George. The frequently have arts and crafts sessions, baking, trips to the beach, picnics, there is never a dull moment. Her interaction with the other children has proved invaluable to her development. Kirsten and George's two daughters are extremely well mannered and have a lovely nature and are a credit to them both. This fills me with confidence. Kirsten and George have a real love for children which is evident in their work. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Mums are always worried about their child being looking after by carers, and I am no different. However, I am so grateful that we found Kirsten and George, I can just tell my son has had a fabulous day when I pick him up as he always has a huge smile on his face. My son often brings back his hand craft arts, and they write a diary for each child they care for everyday along and take lots of lovely pictures. Toddlers group, walks, playgrounds, dance in the house, they keep the kids very active during the day. Kirsten’s daughters are wonderful with my son, Ethan. I can often hear their laughs through the door before I came in to pick up Ethan. They made Ethan feel so welcomed that we had no problem leaving him in their care for the first time. I can’t recommend Kirsten and George highly enough, they don’t see this as a job, they really love what they do. I just have to say it one more time they are fantastic childminders!!!

I have been so impressed by Kirsten's very high standard of childcare, she goes above and beyond what is expected of a childminder. Like all mums I was very apprehensive about leaving my son for the first time but the loving family environment both her and George have created has given me so much reassurance and confidence. Every time I pick up Alexander I can see in his face how much fun he has had and he definitely feels at home. This is helped by their 2 wonderful daughters who are so caring and considerate with Alexander and were a huge help in settling him in. I can't recommend Kirsten enough, you can tell this isn't just a job for Kirsten but a love of hers!!!!!

I have absolutely no hesitation in saying how much my daughter loves going to Kirsten's! Kirsten and George provide a warm nurturing environment for the kids and my daughter looks forward to each day she goes. I am always amazed at how much she manages to do with her in what is actually quite a short time, and my daughter is always coming home delighted with the things she has baked or the crafts she has made. To feel comfortable and relaxed about leaving my daughter with someone else was a big ask for me, however this is exactly how I feel about Kirsten, she is warm, friendly and welcoming and my daughter loves being around her and her family.

Kirsten is an absolutely fantastic childminder. She makes children feel so welcome. My daughter appeared always happy and content in Kirsten and George’s care. She keeps children occupied with different activities. She is very happy, outgoing and friendly person with a smile on her face. She is got a lovely and very welcoming family that my daughter felt like part of family. She found good friends in Kirsten's daughters. I would highly recommend Kirsten as a childminder to everyone without any second opinion. She is the best.

Kirsten is an absolutely fantastic childminder. She makes children feel so welcome. She is extremely flexible and accommodating to parents, but more importantly my child has always been made to feel like Kirsten's is a home from home (apart from the fact that Kirsten is far more inventive at arts, crafts and exciting activities than I am!).
I never worry about leaving my child with Kirsten. That is such a huge relief to any working mum.
I can't recommend Kirsten more strongly to anybody looking for a childminder.

kirsten is a great childminder i would highly recommend kirsten to any parent looking for a childminder she is kind caring happy person. my child is always kept busy with lots of great activites arts and crafts home baking play group story time singing and dancing etc and i get to read about it in her diary and some great pics too not only is kirsten great she has a very kind welcoming family .
