My Requirements

We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic person to care for our children when we're not available. Your role will involve taking on the responsibilities typically handled by parents, including school runs, meal preparation, helping with school work, and chores. We need someone available on Tue, Thu, Fri, and occasionally, for about 16 weeks a year on other days too (i.e. Mo-Fri), according to a yearly schedule, occasionally from as early as 7 a.m. to 7-7:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:

Care for and ensure the safety of our children.
Prepare their meals and snacks.
Assist with school work and chores.
Keep their living spaces tidy.
Accommodate flexible working hours.
Follow a yearly schedule.
Engage the children in age-appropriate activities.
Provide a nurturing and supportive environment.
Maintain regular communication with us.

Requirements:

Prior child care experience with reliable references.
Passion for working with children.
Organizational skills.
Patience and adaptability.
Willingness to undergo a background check.
Reliable transportation.
First aid certification.

Pay is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

We are looking for longer-term arrangements but are exploring back-up and other options too.
