About Us

Our School values the individuality of every child and our explicit goal is to develop confident learners, who become empowered to take on the challenges of Primary School.

Alphablocks Nursery School & Pre-Prep in St. Paul’s Church, Hadley Wood, provides early education for children between 2 and 5 years of age, with a few additional places for children between 5 and 6 years old. Children have access to a wide range of learning experiences, which are linked with the School’s educational curriculum and support their development. Extracurricular activities and specialist sessions include music, drama, sports, language, and information technology classes.

We follow a hybrid educational approach, which brings together the best elements of different approaches to maximize children’s learning potential and to ‘scaffold’ their learning. Our classroom is specifically designed according to needs of the children and the skills we want them to develop. It is a flexible and adaptive environment with spaces to explore, to learn, to relax in and have fun. We want our children to be enthused and motivated to learn.
