My Requirements

Our aim is to provide a structured and relaxed after school environment which will allow the children to enjoy after school activities and have dedicated assistance with homework.

An after school nanny would be ideal and our requirement would suit someone looking for either a part time role, to add some hours onto their week or looking to work within a current nanny share agreement.

The care would be inclusive but not restricted to:
- After school pick up (both children at same school),
- Relevant travel to/from after school activities
- Assistance with homework,
- Preparation of healthy nutritious meals.

Qualifications/skills desired:
- Ofsted Registeration (although this isn't imperative)
- First Aid trained
- DBS checked
- Valid clean driving license and own car.
- If possible, someone who has been trained in mental health wellbeing.

What’s on offer:
- Paid holiday allowance (20 days plus additional at times when we take leave from work)
- Meals during working hours
- Ongoing support with development

The hours are negotiable but ideally would be between 2pm - 7pm, 1-3 days a week.

During holidays, additional care could be negotiated, but hours would remain roughly the same apart from time when my wife and I are on annual leave.

Both children have an active, bubbly (albeit cheeky at times) personality. They can be very independent at times but also like to interact.
Lucas is an extremely anxious child in his teens, so needs a calming but authoritative figure to help him stay level headed and improve his confidence.

The person we have in mind, will be enthusiastic, bubbly and fun who will be proactive in their approach. They must able to show a more firm approach as and when necessary who will not be afraid to stand ground (fairly) and provide relevant discipline.
