My Experience

I started in child care working in a day care nursery over 16 years ago and gaining my level 3 In child care and education.

After this, I started up a nursery alongside my mum and sister! We ran the nursery for 9 successful years! Within that time I worked with all ages from 0-5 years, managing the setting, and gained my early years professional status level 6.

After selling the nursery because I wanted new challenges, I worked as a part time nanny to two of the most lovely, happy, caring children. Over the 3 years I looked after them, I watched them grow into confident little people and I am so happy I was a part of it.

I picked the children up from school each afternoon, prepared healthy snacks and meals. I supported them with homework, reading and spelling. We loved to paint, play imaginative games and go to the park.

The early years foundation stage is etched in my memory so I'm equipped with the many tools i need to encourage children to achieve their highest potential in a fun and refreshing way.

Once the children become too old for a Nanny I started working in a nursery until I had my first daughter 5 years ago.

Since then I have welcomed another little girl who is now 2 years old.

I ran sensory sessions for Newborns to Prewalkers in the Milton Keynes area and messy play sessions when my daughters where younger.

My Qualifications

10 GCSE grade A-C
2 A levels in biology and English

A graduate degree in English and performing Arts
NVQ Child care and Education Level 3
Early years professional status Level 6

First aid certified
Designated Safeguarding certified
Behaviour Management trained
