My name is Alison and I live in Eltham. I am a mum of three grown up daughters and before becoming a childminder I worked in primary schools supporting children for over 18 years. I love to provide care and support to children in a loving and nurturing way and get a lot of pleasure from seeing the children I support flourish and grow.
I am fun loving, caring with a lot of patience and a good sense of humour. I have experience looking after babies, pre school or school aged children and can easily keep children amused with fun and engaging activities. I have a vast experience working with children with special needs specialising in Speech and Language. I am paediatric first aid trained and hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
I have a home from home setting, providing activities and experiences which will support your child in all areas of their development. I have a large garden and live close to lots of open spaces which will be used to provide your child with lots of opportunities to discover the world around them. They will have the opportunity, support and encouragement to become confident and independent children.
I can provide an evening meal and the children love this occasion to sit around the table and discuss their day and anything else that they wish to share! We usually end the day with dancing or stories depending how energetic we are all feeling!
Ultimately I aim to provide a happy fun setting to all the children so they will always feel as safe and secure in my home as they would in their own.

My Experience
I have been as Ofsted registered childminder since September 2019. Previously I worked as a private nanny. Up until 2018 I had worked for 16 years in Primary Education supporting children in all areas of their development I have worked with children with Special Needs, such as ASD and ADHD and specialised with children with speech and language delay.
