About Me
I am an experienced, bright, mindful, engaging, warm, kind, fun and assertive babysitter, nanny and teacher who enthusiastic, dedicated, hard working and self-motivated. I thrive as part of a purposeful and communicative team, and love working with children especially in subjects such as art that I have studied and taught for many years now, especially with 0 – 14 year olds both as a nanny, babysitter, teacher and facilitator privately and for schools, youth projects, after school clubs, and private classes.
My degree in Anthropology and Development and teaching skills have meant that communication and understanding peoples specific situations and needs have been at the top of my work agenda. With my 16 years of working with children and young people, I feel very confident when looking after children and I strive to create an environment that is fun, creative, and skill building.
I have provided care to children from the age of 3 months-16 years. Looking after them at set times, e.g. after school/for a day/night/weekend, sometimes for the whole week/fortnight. I have also accompanied families on their holidays and work trips, looking after the child/children.
I carry out all the necessary requirements when looking after children; playing, teaching, reading, writing, working with them on projects, homework and creative tasks, taking them to clubs, taking the children on outings and swimming/the park etc. cooking tasty and nourishing food for them and at times with them, changing and bathing them, cleaning up after them and reading stories and putting them to bed etc.
I am fully DBS checked annually and hold a full, clean driving license. I also have my Paediatric First Aid certificate.

The Maxwell Family, Little girl started when she was 12 months old. Would teach her English through playtime sessions. Arts and crafts and Music. Taking her to her different classes throughout the week.
Would go with the family on holidays in England and abroad to look after Agatha when needed.

The Dale family. Girl 10 and boy 7 years old. In charge of the children – all aspects, school drop offs/pick ups. Educational- tutoring, homework, projects, music lessons – guitar, singing and piano. Cooking and cleaning. House PA.

The Da Silva family. Little boy aged 9 months. Would teach him English through 1.5 hour playtime sessions twice a week.

The Bosseboeuf family. Two children aged 4 and 6, girl and boy. Sometimes I would make dinner and put them to bed if needed. Look after the children more in holidays and on days off.. esp. Wednesdays, when I would have the children all day. The family moved to Ireland for 2 years.

The Pullen family, looking after two girls, started when they were 1 and 3 years old, continued till they were 12 and 14. Role varied according to the families needs. Would pick the girls up from school, organise activities, later on would do their homework with them. Cook dinner for them, bathe them, get them ready for bed, and put them to bed.
I would go on holidays with the family as their nanny also whenever needed.
