About Me
I live in the village of East Horsley with my husband and two children, aged 18 and 20. I've been a registered childminder since 2000. Our house is close to both the Horsely and Effingham train stations. We have three friendly, family dogs which gives the children get great enjoyment.
We are situated in a beautiful setting close to National Trust parks, RHS gardens and local woods; all of which we make great use of. Indoors we have a large open planned living and kitchen area for the children to play in with a wide range of toys and resources suitable for all ages. Outside the children are able to enjoy and explore our extensive and safe garden including a wooden play centre, sandpit and other play equipment and toys.
I enjoy planning and taking part in various educational activities with the children that are linked to the Early Years Foundation guidelines including role play, arts and crafts, messy play, cooking, painting and physical exercise.
My Experience
I am a university commerce graduate with over 23 years of childcare experience. I became a registered childminder in 2000, worked as a Nursery School assistant for two years and have helped out at my children's local primary school for many years. I have a NVQ 3 qualification in Childcare Learning and Development and have updated my childcare training in 2010. I attend additional training sessions to ensure I keep up to date with EYFS guidelines.

Ofsted Registered, NVQ 3 in Childcare Learning and Development, University Commerce graduate, CRB checked, St John's Ambulance First Aid certificate
