About Me
Hi, I'm Jess and I am 28 and In October 2023 I became a mummy to my beautiful daughter and we are currently enjoying spending as much time together as we can while I am on maternity leave. I am due to start back to work in June 2024 and would love to be able to bring my Daughter with me if I’m lucky enough to become a Nanny again.
I have been working in childcare for over 10 years. I am currently working full-time as a room leader in the toddler room in a nursery in Fairford. Before I moved the Fairford I was a Senior Childcare Practitioner in the baby unit in a Nursery near my hometown of Bristol. Previous to this I worked as a Nanny to a lovely family with 2 beautiful children and stayed with them for 3 years until they went on to school. I have a great interest in the outdoors and forest school activities. When I was nannying, I loved taking the children on picnics, country walks, local farm parks, soft plays, gymnastics etc. I am passionate about childcare and am reliable, patient and caring. I have a full, clean driving licence and my own car. I am also DBS checked, and have a qualification in Paediatric First Aid and level 3 in Child care.
My Experience
I have been working with children for as long as I can remember. When I was younger I was heavily involved in the scouting organisation from a young age, including becoming a young leader in both beavers and scouts.
I volunteered at a children's holiday club for a number of years when I was in secondary school.
I did my work experience in a school based nursery in Portishead. Then I went on the college and completed my level 3 childcare apprenticeship with a local childminder.
I then got a job as Nanny to a lovely family with 2 amazing children and was with them for 3 years.
I then went onto working full time at a local Nursery as a Senior Childcare Practitioner in the baby unit, where I was for about 8 years.
I then moved to Fairford in September 2022 and I am now the room leader of a toddler room in the local nursery. (Currently on maternity leave due to start work again in June 2024)

My Availability
I am currently working in a nursery which I do enjoy but would love to be a nanny again if I meet the right family and bring my daughter along with me.
