I'm Lorna a busy working mum of 2 amazing children, wife to Craig and fur mum to Dotty our cavapoo. We live in Beckenham. We have a cleaner who has been with us for 15 years and is a key member of our family.
Our wonderful nanny will be leaving us after 8 years to relocate. We are looking for another Mary Poppins to come and help look after our 2 children (age 7 and 5), support the family as needed, help with our dog (cavapoo) and cat (she is 18!). Our commitment in return will be for you to have a nice, friendly, fun working environment and want you to feel part of our family. Ideally this person would stay and work with us for a few years while the children remain at primary school.
My Requirements
We're looking for an employed or self employed, full time nanny who can work:
Term time
• Mon - Fri
3x mornings 7-10am and everyday 2-6pm
School holidays
• Mon - Fri 730-6pm
Plus be available for ad hoc babysitting and occasion over night stays. We need someone who can be flexible eg happy to pick up extra hours as needed and be local.
The nanny will be paid pro rata based on the total number of hours worked over the duration of the year so will have the same take home monthly pay.
We're looking for someone with 10 years plus nanny experience who is fun, friendly, proactive, flexible and can help support the needs of our busy family.
We need someone who can drive (ideally use their own car) who can help get the children ready for school and pick up and drop off from clubs.
The role would start in Oct 23 and will require references from previous roles including DBS checks etc
We are planning to do interviews wc 27 August 2023 and would like to appoint before the school term starts mid September.
