About Me
Hi!
My name is Lucy and I am mum to my three boys, who are 10, 4 and 2. I live in Chaddesden, Derby with my husband, our children, dogs and chickens.
We live for the outdoors and spend as much time as we can in the fresh air, learning and having fun along the way.
I have full time availability from January 2023.
My Experience
I began childminding back in 2018, but life took me in a different direction. Between then and now, I have been working as a project manager for a popular 4D baby scanning company, ensuring clinics run smoothly and are compliant with the CQC.
Previous to my own childminding experience, I worked as a childminding assistant for a friend who had 24 children on her books. Other than that experience, I have my own children and had often volunteered at my son's school.
My Qualifications
I currently hold the following qualifications:
• Level 3 HBCA
• Paediatric first aid trained
• Safeguarding
• Transitions to the setting
• Foundation degree in English literature, History and American Studies
• BA (hons) in American Studies with Popular Music in Society
• Food hygiene delivered by Public Health England
And I am working towards:
• STA swimming award
I have a natural interest to learn, so I will be expanding on these all of the time through CPD training.
My Availability
As I am still in the process of setting up, I have all spaces available.
I will do school drop off and pick ups from St. Albans Catholic Primary and one other school which is yet to be confirmed.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
All fees are inclusive of meals and days out, however the odd day trip or swimming lesson may incur extra charges, but these are, of course, optional.
Discounted weekly and sibling fees, please get in touch for more information.
I also offer ad hoc care, which is available from £7ph and term time only contracts. Please message me with your requirements.
Wraparound care is available outside of my usual opening hours, but this must be agreed in advance.
