Hello!
I am a second year mechanical engineering student at the University of Brighton, currently residing in Hove. I enjoy reading, music, climbing, hiking and languages.
I am a very empathetic and maternal individual which I believe makes me a viable candidate for babysitting. My degree also involves a lot of mathematics, so I'm able to help out with maths (and English, as an avid reader!) homework in a variety of levels and topics - I love to help young children develop their basic skills and being involved in their personal growths.
My Experience
My babysitting experience has so far related to minding family friends' young children as well as a couple of families I have had the pleasure of getting involved with in the Brighton area previously.
At my last job as a council librarian, prior to university, I was involved in weekly arts and crafts and rhyme time events where I supervised young children in playing, creating crafts, and helped teach reading.
My Qualifications
Diploma in level 2 electrical engineering
Diploma in level 3 engineering
Bachelor's in mechanical engineering (ongoing)
My Availability
I am often free in the evenings and during a couple of the days throughout the week. I am also free during the weekends, but this tends to be one weekend day at a time. I am also available for overnights at times. This can be discussed further!
