My Experience

Part Time Nanny 2021-2022
I have been a part time nanny for the last year to a 6 year old. My role has included school pick ups, activities inside and outside of the home, short holidays with the family, bedtime routines and light housekeeping.

Babysitting 2016-2020:

I have cared for 3 children under the age of 10. My role included assisting school age children with homework, preparing snacks and meals, performing light housekeeping and supporting the children's emotional development.

2015-2016- Primary school working with reception children.

My role included:
Developing children's English skills with reading and writing activities,supporting the children in developing their fine and gross motor skills i.e writing, painting and skipping, developing the children's math and science skills with creative activities,supporting the children to develop their social skills with role-play and group activities,teaching the children safe behaviours on trips i,e. road safety- STOP,LOOK,LISTEN, supporting children with additional needs- Autism, ADHD.

I also have experience in nurseries. I understand the importance of maintaining clean and safe environments for children to work in and I support children's learning by setting up focused activities. I also encourage children to become more independent during meal times.



As well as the above I have two nieces aged 9 and 7 and a 2 year old nephew who I babysit regularly.

My Qualifications

BTEC Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care- 3 Merits
Currently studying criminology at University
