About Me
My name is Sarah and I am an Ofsted registered childminder located in Skipton. I live with my husband and our three children, our son is 15 years old and our daughter's are 13 years old and 7 year old. We live in a semi-detached house with a safe enclosed rear garden area and live in walking distance to Skipton town centre.
My aim is to offer a first-class quality care in a warm, loving and safe homely environment and to encourage children to learn through play and have fun.
During the week I will take the children on outings to toddler groups, soft play areas, parks, for picnics, to the woods, library and we will go on lots of fun walks exploring the local environment.
In school holidays I take the children on trips to the Yorkshire dales ice cream park, National Science and Media Museum, Hesketh farm park, Cliffe Castle, Tropical world, Bowling, Bolton abbey, Skipton woods, White wells and more.
We also do lots of fun activities at home both indoors and outdoors providing opportunity for learning and development using plenty of toys and equipment age,stage appropriate for your child.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for 13 years. Previous to this I worked as a private nanny for 12 years where I cared for children aged between birth to teens. Also I have experience working in nurseries and as a teachers assistant and have 3 children of my own.
