About Me
My husband and I live with our 3 children, aged 16, 13 and 10. Our 16 year old is called Henry and is non-verbal autistic. He loves Mickey Mouse and most things toddlers do, like musical toys and lights.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone who may be able to help out on the weekend, taking Henry out to places and giving us a break. He currently attends a residential setting Tues to Fri. I work on the weekend mostly and it's hard on my husband after a long week at work. Someone who has experience of non-verbal autism and who is understanding, patient and caring. Someone who can get to know Henry and someone who is quite fit as he likes to walk, run and generally doesn't stop moving. He also needs a bit of help with personal care, although is toilet trained.
