My Summary
About Me
We are a Daughter & Mother team. We offer full day care (7am to 6pm) , before and after school and offer school drop off and pick up service from the Ludgershall schools care and holiday care for children of school age. Which meets the requirements of our parents. We are open approximately 48 weeks a year from Monday to Friday except bank holidays and we are closed Christmas week. We also take a two to four weeks holiday over the year but give the parents plenty of notice. We aim to be as flexible as possible to help working parents /carers to accommodate to their individual needs.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder since 1998 and work along side my mother, Carol, who works as my assistant now but was a childminder from 1987- 2002 when we decided it would work better as childminder and assistant. We both do all relevant courses.
My Qualifications
Ofsted registered, first aid training for baby, child and adults, enhanced dbs. Both my assistant and I have adult and paediatric first aid certificates and have completed online safeguarding training, I also have level 2 food &
hygiene and fire safety & evacuation certificates, an awareness of type 1 diabetes, Child Sexual Exploitation, Female Genital Mutilation, prevent channel general awareness module, protecting children from sexual exploitation, planning for next steps, an introduction into children
diagnosed with autism, awareness of child abuse and neglect, early child development, schemes, supporting children's emotional well being, supporting children with speech, language and communication needs, the revised EYFS, expectations of behaviour, raising development concerns with parents, all online courses which are updated every 2 years or where necessary.
