About Me
Hello! My name is Alba, I'm a part time nanny and art facilitator for children of all ages.
I would describe myself as reliable, fun, compassionate and honest as well as being very patient. I always put the needs of the children first and encourage them to build confidence.
For after school activities I will have options ready based on what their needs are, I allow them to pick activities where possible but I create a healthy routine of exercise, learning, playing, creativity, relaxation, nutritious and balanced meals and sleep catered for each individual child.
I enjoy the creativity involved with working with children, I create fun activities/games to assist learning and the development of skills.
I have my own transport and a full clean driver's licence.
My Experience
I studied childcare, health, development and have a diploma in Art Psychotherapy that gave me an important foundation to work with children.
Some of my job roles have included:
Nursery placements for babies and children between the ages of 8 months to 5 yrs old.
Teaching children of the ages 7 to 12 kayaking and windsurfing.
Teaching English and Drama to Spanish speaking children, giving them the freedom to express their creativity by creating their own stories in the play.
Entertainment for children’s events doing face-painting and facilitating sport activities.
Art facilitation workshops for families.
I am bilingual in both English and Spanish. (I can give English language lessons for children trying to learn it as a new language or to work on their speaking skills, this could be for children who don't currently speak any English or Spanish)
I have a Disclosure Scotland (PVG) for working with children and other vulnerable groups.

My availability depends on the days and time I will be working. I am currently with a nanny family on weekends until the summer.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
Nanny (Live Out)
Basic rate of £15 per hour + £5 for each child I will be looking after + travel fees of £0.45p per mile (I’m based in Glasgow West End).
English lessons:
Depending on materials required, prices are between £30 to £40 per hour. There will be a range of materials provided and adapted to the child’s learning including workbooks and language cards.
