About Me

Rabbit Warren Childcare is Ofsted rated OUTSTANDING and we have had both Covid-19 vaccinations. We have a 4 bedroom house with a large private garden, separate play room, good size living room for songs/dance, meal times and quite times and a local library close by.

We aim to provide high quality childcare within a home environment. We educate children from birth to five years old and focus on all seven areas of the Early Years Curriculum. From September 2021 we will be embracing the updated curriculum and our training is to to date to enable this. This is taught in a nurturing, safe environment that encourages children to play and have fun. The children will be taught by an early years teacher that is also an OFSTED registered childminder so we focus on the children’s interests to allow learning to happen naturally. In addition we care for children up to the age of eighteen years old. We are registered for PACEY (Professional Association of Childcare and Early Years) training and insured by childcare.co.uk.

Rabbit Warren Childcare works closely with parents and carers to ensure all children’s needs are met as we understand you will always be the child’s first educator and know your child best. We plan adult-led and child-led activities then observe children so together we can work out their next steps of learning. Just to give you added reassurance there will always be a paediatric first-aider with the children.

We also offer breakfast, after school and holiday clubs. For the older children we focus on them learning in a fun way, through projects that the children get to choose and explore.

We understand fresh air, exercise and learning by seeing is important for all ages which is why we have a garden on site and take the children out daily. This could be to the meadows, libraries, supermarkets, messy play groups, parks, children centers and woods.

Every day is different at Rabbit Warren Childcare. A typical days activities could be mark making with oats, water play looking at floating and sinking, story time listening to a classic Disney book, play dough with numbers, making dens in the woods, riding scooters, climbing frames in the park, socialising in groups, learning about different celebrations an so many activities it’s impossible to list them all.

Rabbit Warren Childcare has one rabbit called Athena she is waiting to meet you all. Here we teach children about care, confidence, social skills and responsibility. We look forward to meeting you all.

My son (15 months old) is being with Sally for about 3 months, he is super happy and is enjoying so much his time in rabbit warren, they do a lot of activities and he is learning and developing so quick, Sally is so sweet with the kids and the communication with us is been great, I highly highly recommend her.
