About Me

I am a 29 year old trainee Somatic Therapist with a background in Child Development Studies and child care. I have extensive experience of working with children in private households, in schools and in care homes. I am deeply passionate about providing a nurturing space for children to thrive.

My Experience

I have over 5 years experience as a nanny, working as a sole care nanny for children aged 1 - 9. My role has always included imaginative play, educational games and activities, meal preparation, nursery/school drop off/pick-up. I have experience in bed time routines and babysitting also.

Outside of this, I have worked extensively in schools, including as a support for autistic and SEN children. I have also worked in care homes for young people with difficult behaviours, meaning I am equipped to deal with all types of behavioural needs with compassion and care.

My Qualifications

SOS Internationale - I am currently studying to become a Somatic Experiencing Therapist
University College London (UCL) - Psychology Graduate Certificate (Child development and education) Classification: 1st.
University of Durham - Combined Honours, BA Hons (English Literature, Politics/International Relations, Philosophy). Classification: 2:1.

GCSEs and BTECs: 10 A*s, 1 Merit.
