My Summary

My Experience

I have a wealth of experience in working with and caring for children. I have a level 3 in Early Years Education, and a first class degree in Primary Education. I have worked as a primary teacher for the past year and a half. I have experience and a knowledge of the current phonics, writing and maths schemes in school and can support with tutoring and homework.

Prior to teaching, I was a nanny for 6 months caring for twins aged 3 months and a toddler aged 2. During this job I was responsible for all children have a developed understanding of weaning, changing (nappies and clothes!) and creating active, engaging games for the 2 year old (salt dough, baking, crafts, drawing, imaginative play, den building).

I also volunteered in out of school clubs and volunteered teaching abroad in Thailand for a month during my university studies.

Additionally, I have 3 nieces aged 4,5, and 8. I have worked with all ages from newborn- 15 years old and have worked with a range of additional needs. I have a DBS through my job as a teacher and have registered this on the update service.

From September 2022-April 20233 I was a nanny for a 6 month old. Duties included weaning, nap schedule, daily routine, baby sensory groups and activities and a mix of sole charge and shared charge.

From April 2023-June 2023 I worked as an international nanny in Italy, teaching English to a 5 year old and 2 year old.

I am currently looking for summer work in-between travel plans for October.

My Availability

I am very flexible and usually fully available around my other holiday nanny work!

I am happy to help with light housework and more than happy to help with homework/phonics/tutoring.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

I have based my fees on my current wage and the experience I have had.
