About Me
Hello there! We are looking for a Nanny to join our family. Start Date July or August.
We are looking for an average of 32 hours per week (less in term times, more in school holidays). This would be over Monday – Thursday, with Fridays off. We are also open to more or less hours a week. We would love someone who is looking for a long term position and who lives locally.
We live in Blackheath on a lovely quiet street. We have a sunny Garden, a big kitchen and two young cats! We have a little boy aged 3 and a little girl aged 6.
We are biased, but our daughter is a lovely bright warm girl, who has had wonderful relationships with our previous Nanny. Our son is full of humour kind and engaging. Together we all have a lot of fun. We have had two nannies over the past 7 years and they have been key to our happiness as a family. We have all enjoyed lovely relationships with them and are experienced as good employers.
Our daughter is at school in Blackheath and our son will be starting nursery full time in September. Hours are 44 p/week during holidays and 32 hours during term time. You will have 6 weeks off a year as a minimum. We ask that these are taken during holidays.
About you:
• You will be experienced with children, a warm character who enjoys the outdoors and going on adventures! Making the most of London’s cultural offers during the holidays!
• Happy to take the role of looking after the children and the domestic duties of the house if applying for the dual role.
• Examples of establishing successful routines, mealtimes and activities.
• Educated to A-Level standard as a minimum. Fluency in English written and spoken.
• Able to produce a CV
• Loyalty demonstrated in your background through working with families for long periods of time
• Motivated and upbeat personality. Ability to research local activities and organise your week with the children
• Good grasp of nutrition. Someone who enjoys a fit and healthy lifestyle and thinks about the children’s diet and movement
• Professional who takes pride in their work and creating a warm loving environment.
