I have been described as a bit of a Mary Poppins! I think my love of nature, creativity and children combined make a great au pair. I like to keep fit and healthy, exercising and eating well. I have found a really keen interest in early child psychology and early child development so I started Waldorf Early Childhood Studies in September 2018.
I have over ten years experience working with children in private homes, preschool, primary and secondary schools, in a variety of roles both in school and away on day excursions as well as residential trips where patience, organization, safety and welfare are of utmost importance.
Before leaving London in 2015 I had been working with children and young people in special needs schools, supporting individuals with disabilities including Autism, sight impairments, global developmental delay, Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy.
In 2015 I went to work in New Zealand at a Bear Park Early Childhood Centre which is a Reggio Emilia inspired Early Childhood Education centre, which really changed a lot for me. My role there included organizing fun and exciting activities, meal times, sleep times, toileting/nappy changing, encouragement and lots of cuddles, to name a few!
On my return, I worked as a nanny for a family in Yorkshire with a toddler and a four year old with Autism for the over a year, which I thoroughly enjoyed! I moved to Brighton a year ago and have been supporting a family with an a amazing toddler here.
I look forward to hearing from you.
I have 9 GCSEs (A* -B), 3 A Levels (B-C) and a certificate of higher education in Philosophy from the University of Leeds.
Currently studying a CACHE Level 4 Diploma in Waldorf Early Childhood Studies.

Gabriella (known affectionately as Gigi to my boys) has been an outstanding au pair to us and we are really sad to let her go.
She has been very caring, thoughtful, efficient and committed to her job. She encourages healthy eating and living by preparing meals with hidden vegetables. It's lovely to hear them say 'Gigi this is delicious!', we just smile to one another and I ask for the recipe.
I know that children under her care will be taught good manners, will be encouraged to be creative and most importantly they will be happy.
I can't thank her enough for all she has done for us.
Good luck Gabriella! x
