Hi,
My name is Lauren and I am 26 years old. I Live in New Mills in the High Peak and have lived here for just over a year. I am currently working as a full time Year 3 teacher at a school in Hadfield near Glossop.
I am a fully qualified Primary teacher, and have been qualified for 4 years and I absolutely love my job. I am looking to help anyone who is looking for some extra support, whether it is just to help your child with their attainment at school and to help embed what they have been taught in school already or if it is to help a child in year 6 to achieve their best in the upcoming SATs. I have a huge passion for education and care about the childrens welfare. I will do anything in my power to support children to succeed but also empower them to be happy and confident in themselves in the process.
My Experience
I have been working in Primary schools for just over 4 year now and have worked in many different settings. I have worked on a 1:1 basis with children who have SEN and have also worked in inner city schools where there is a lot of pressure to achieve highly. I worked as a supply teacher before gaining my permanent post at my current school and so have a wide range of experience within different schools in and around Manchester and Sheffield.
